| I've been tired the last few days. Going away for only a few hours has worn me out so much that I slept for ten hours or more most nights, and needed to rest at least some during the day as well.
Yesterday evening I was getting sharp pains in my left wrist. They came and went. It was really yucky. My parents determined later that it was probably caused by wearing my wristwatch too much. But I took it off as soon as the pains started and it still hurt on and off for several hours.
| Not much is happening here. I'm selling things on eBay, trying to get my Christmas shopping started and finished early, and reading. (Right now I'm reading a mystery.)
I bought some books yesterday at a used book sale at the mall. It would have been nice if they were divided by genre, but they weren't. Just fiction and nonfiction, although even those were kind of mixed together.
I found an adult fiction book mixed into the Juvenile / Young Adult section, because it had a bright cover. I moved it. (I do that in the library sometimes, too, even though I don't work there.)
I must say, eBay is excellent for Christmas shopping. ^___^ I've already been able to buy a gift for my father and a gift for my sister which I wouldn't have been able to find any other way.
Yay for eBay! | | |
| For some reason, I'm thining of that song on Babe tonight.
If I had words to make a day for you I'd sing you a morning golden and true I would make this day last for all times Then fill the night deep in moonshine.
I love that song. I can sing it, too! It's easy. ^______^
Today our dog was barking at neighbouring dogs across the street. Which is unlike her. She knows she can't do that!
I wonder if she's been doing it on the side when we were away from home. We've been away a lot so maybe she's getting away with things while we're gone. :/
| When I eat berries, my lips look weird! ^__^;
When I was younger and ate grape or cherry popsicles, my family would usually tease me about wearing lipstick, and of course I wasn't wearing any.
I still feel a little bit self-conscious about it now. ^^;
| I read about 125 pages of this book.
Family reunion today.
I relate to relatives a bit better now, more as an adult, so I was able to talk a little bit.
Ate some things I probably shouldn't have, though.
Oh, and there was an old photograph of my grandmother and Father when he was about 3 or 4. On the beach under a pier. It was cool.
They gave it to Dad to keep. :)
